George D. Lim, DMD, DDS

Dr. Lim, founding member and chief dentist of the offices, has more than 25 years of dental practice. After obtaining his dental license in the Philippines in 1983, he established his practice in Manila until 1987. He moved to California in 1988 where he further honed his craft. He cross-trained in other related functions in order to be a more rounded dental practitioner, and to prepare for his dental career in the US. For eight years, he worked as a Dental Assistant, Office Manager and Associate Dentist. Finally in 1997, he opened his first dental office in Culver City and began a career that was to become the highly successful and progressive practice that it is today. He now operates four dental offices in Los Angeles, each catering to around 4,000 patients a year. He is an active member of the American Dental Society, California Dental Society, West LA Dental Society and Philippine Dental Association.

Khalid Choudhary, DDS, MS

Dr. Choudhary was recently selected as one of America's Top Dentists by the consumers reserch council of America. His name is listed in the Guide to America's Top Dentists. Dr. Choudhary is a periodontist, specializing in the treatment of the gums, soft tissues and bones that support the teeth. He graduated from dentistry in 2002 at the Howard University in Washington DC. He took up his residency at the Columbia University in New York where he received his Masters of Science degree in Periodontics in 2005. In 2006, he became a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is also a visiting Professor at Columbia University where he has delivered numerous lectures on various surgical techniques, sinus augmentation surgery and dental implants. Dr. Choudhary is the author of the book entitled "Dental Anatomy and Occlusion" which has become an important reference in the practice of periodontics, and is sold in major bookstores in the US, Spain and Canada. His articles have also been published in major scientific publications across the globe such as Science, Nature Biotechnology, Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences, to name a few. He is a recipient of the prestigious Platinum Clinician Award from 3I in recognition of his expertise in the field of dental implants.

Rozheh Babaan, D.D.S

Rozheh Babaan, D.D.S., is an Orthodontist. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Denver where he took up Orthodontics. He received his degree in Dentistry at the New York University College of Dentistry. Dr. Babaan comes home to California who is also an alumnus of University of California, Los Angeles. He is a recipient of the Saul Shapiro Scholarship for Cancer Research. Among his honors and certificates are the Dean’s Research Award, Dr. Leon Pentel Award in Oral Hisology and Orthodontic Honors Clinic. Dr. Babaan speaks Armenian, Farsi, French and is currently a student in Spanish.

Sydon Arroyo, D.D.S

Dr. Arroyo is a Comprehensive and Esthetic Dentist highly skilled in cosmetic and surgical procedures including veneers, implants, Invisalign, wisdom teeth and root canals. Dr. Arroyo is a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry where he was awarded honors in prosthodontics and cosmetic dentistry. He completed an advanced post-doctoral residency in comprehensive and implant dentistry at the University of Florida & Shands Medical Center. He takes pride in thoroughly educating patients about their oral condition and the gentle, conservative treatment of dental pathology. He strives to create the perfect smile that functions in precise harmony with biological function. Dr. Arroyo is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association, California Dental Association and the San Fernando Valley Dental Association.

Arlene Alcala—Sy, DMD

Dr. Alcala-Sy graduated from Centro Escolar University in the Philippines in 1991 with a degree in Dentistry. Since she arrived in the US in 1994, she honed her dentistry skills as a Registered Dental Assistant until 2002—the year she received her license to practice dentistry in California. Since that time, she has worked with ten offices across California. She has worked as an associate in the office of Dr. Lim since 2007. Dr. Alcala-Sy took up extended studies for General Practice at the UCLA.

Mely Lim, Director for Finance and Human Relations

Mely has been handling the finances of the company since inception. With her expert accounting skills, the company has remained financially healthy, allowing it to grow from a single dental chair in 1996 to the multi-location office that it is today. Mely also handles the Human Relations functions of the company. She is a nurse by profession.

Emily Garcia, Director for Operations and Case Management

Emily is in charge of the overall office operations. Her experience in the dental field spans close to 20 years. She obtained her certification and diploma as a registered dental assistant in Canada where she started her career. When she moved to the US in 1996, she was immediately hired as a dental assistant for a clinic in LA where she served for 4 years. She has been a part of this company since it opened, where she mastered her skills in both front office and back office operations. She is the resident expert in delivering case presentations to patients. Emily took up Dentistry in the Philippines.

Carlos Lustre, Director for Information Technology

Carlos has been handling the Information Technology System of the company since 1997. He was responsible for setting-up the computer systems for all three offices. He is also the resident expert in SoftDent®, the top-of-the-line Dental Management software system that serves as backbone of the office operations. Carlos holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.

Walter Garcia, Logistics and Events Director

Walter is a graduate of Dentistry in Manila, Philippines. He started his US experience in Chicago where he worked as Supervisor for an orthodontic clinic for 6 years. He then served as chair side assistant in an orthodontic clinic in Beverly Hills for 1 year, and a Supervisor for another orthodontic clinic in North Hollywood for 13 years. He has been connected with this company for 10 years, in-charge of logistics and organizing marketing events.

Ray Olano, Director for Business Development and Marketing

Ray has 17 years of business management and marketing experience in the pharmaceutical industry. He was the Business Franchise Director of Novartis Inc., managing its specialty businesses. Before that, he was the Associate Marketing Director of Pfizer Inc., managing the Cardiovascular, Metabolic, Neuroscience businesses, among others. He is the recipient of numerous international awards for the various patient programs he has initiated.
